Meeting Description Terms: Open:   The meeting is open to anyone.
Step: The meeting is based on the Twelve Steps of Al-Anon. Generally one step is read and becomes the topic of the meeting.
*Closed: This indicates that the meeting is closed to media/press of any kind, students on course assignment, or other observers. Anyone who has a friend or relative with a drinking problem is welcome at all meetings.
Beginners: The meeting is geared to help those new to Al-Anon. There may be a question answer period for beginners. Beginners are always welcome at all meetings
Meeting etiquette: Meetings normally consist of members sharing their own experiences, strengths, and hope about topics chosen at the start of the meeting. Questions, comments, whispering, and conversational cross talk during a members sharing are discouraged. Most meetings have people who are willing to answer questions about Al-Anon before and after the meeting.
